Has overall responsibility for all Service Department work completed by MGSI Glaziers

• Travels to job sites and service locations to identify glazing, glazing systems and components, door hardware, shower doors, window hardware, and associated components and accessories for repair or replacement
• Communicates with customers to identify problems via telephone, email, and in person
• Creates work orders from incoming phone and email requests
• Maintains records of active work orders and prioritizes for scheduling
• Scales manpower in accordance with backlog of work 
• Creates purchase orders for materials, obtains work permits, and acquires rental equipment as required to execute service work orders
• Schedules service work orders with customers
• Resolves customer disputes directly with customers and owner, if necessary
• Quotes work with and without company pricing sheets
• Prepares bills and invoices for completed work using company utilized software
• Prepares reports of completed work, work in progress, and backlogged work
• Assists walk in customers with order pick ups
• Reviews Employee timesheets for accuracy and makes corrections
• Conducts annual employee performance reviews and semi-annual follow-ups

Requirements

Drivers License with clean MVR record, Background Screening, Post Accident Drug Screening, job-cost accounting knowledge, MS Office and GSuite proficiency

Education

High School Diploma Required

2-Year or 4-Year Degree Preferred
