Our Commercial and Specialty sales members play vital roles in the success of our business. Our sales members are responsible for a wide range of different tasks and duties revolving around helping our residential homeowners and commercial businesses with their glass renovation, repair, and maintenance needs. They prepare and present cost estimates for requested services by examining and analyzing the technical aspects of a project while also ensuring the client’s needs are met. Sales members must be able to gather information from the site and design a solution that meets the requirements of the building owner, building codes, product manufacturers, and in some cases insurance companies.
Roles and Responsibilities
Visit sites to meet with clients, gather essential information and acquire understanding of projects.
Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing plans, drawings, specifications and performing quantity take-offs.
Deliver estimates and follow up; track all client interactions in company CRM software.
Develop and nurture strong, professional relationships with clients.
Continually marketing the Company and looking for future opportunities to grow the business with current customers or referrals.
Obtain accurate information from vendors relating to shipment dates and expected dates of delivery.
Educate customers, other team members, and leadership about changes, features and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction.
Participate in trade shows, conferences, conventions, and all company-sponsored meetings as needed.
Act as a liaison between technicians and clients utilizing verbal and written communication skills to reduce missed actionables and avoid delays.
Provide unit pricing and maintain database for material and labor cost tracking.
Partner with internal cross-functional teams on product updates.
