Skills and Qualifications
Experience in installation storefronts, aluminum doors and hardware, curtainwall, glass & glazing, all glass entrances, caulking, and sunshades. Be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively, without assistance. Be able to lift weight in excess of 75 pounds with assistance. Prepared to stand, walk, lift and bend up to 9 hours per day. Have transportation to and from the shop as well as direct to jobsite reporting. Clean and valid driver’s license. Ability to use power tools required. Ability to follow directions. Must be organized and detailed. Good communications with general contractor and other trades. Be comfortable adhering to all safety guidelines- PPE requirements.
- Install all materials as required for project.
- Communicate effectively with client and project manager.
- Ensure all installed materials meets quality control.
- Manage job schedule and timing with other trades and client.
- Manage onsite crew to run and work effectively.
- Teach and train assigned apprentice.
- Read and understand blueprints, fab drawings & shop drawings.
- Any and all other duties as assigned.
