Gerkin Windows and Doors is a privately held company based in South Sioux City, Nebraska. We are listed as a Top 100 window manufacturer as shown by Window and Door Magazine.  Gerkin manufactures high performance vinyl and aluminum windows and doors as well as storm doors.

We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer.  This position will support our manufacturing processes through product design, development, evaluation, and production.  This person will assist in developing equipment to aid manufacturing process, facilitate plant layout, and work closely on efficiency improvements.

Required Education and/or Experience:

A successful candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment with designing and modifying production and equipment for fabrication, building, assembling and testing. 

This individual needs to be a self-starter and must have good judgment, discipline, and dependability to manage the responsibilities in this role. Excellent verbal and writing skills are needed to communicate effectively with clients, field engineers, peers, and management.

The minimum educational level is an undergraduate Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering degree.
