A major supplier and fabricator of architectural facades, Jordan is seeking a Director of Sales to develop and manage business throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic states. Industry experience is a must, in particular familiarity with preglazed systems. The successful candidate will work out of a home office. Compensation is attractive, consisting of salary and commission pay.
- Develops and manages a portfolio of productive accounts.
- Builds long-term customer relationships to maximize awarded work.
- Works with independent reps and agents to facilitate an RFQ stream.
- Minimum five years’ industrial or technical sales experience.
- Periodic travel required.
- Demonstrable ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Good time management, using available sales time productively.
- Diligent, well organized, a good listener, and a perceptive observer.
- Balances a drive to win with sociability and excellent communication skills.
- Engages effectively with architects, owners, managers, estimators, etc.
- Knows architectural products and systems.
- Knows key concepts regarding architectural specifications.
- Competent with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Good command of standard spoken and written English.
- Valid passport and driver’s license.
