 As a Color Match Lab Technician, you will prepare color samples for evaluation and formulation in support of the Quality Supervisor. Primary duties will include mixing wet paint, spraying paint samples, and adjusting the samples for color to an identified target. This role focuses on the color matching process.

Responsibilities

• Develops color formulas for the window and door industry
• Position consists of both mixing and spraying functions as required to meet production demands
• Acquires color formulations from color match software & prepares sample mixture based on paint formulations/recipe given
• Converts manual formulas for automatic tinting
• Ensures accurate dispensing and labeling of color lab paint samples
• Acquires wet paint sample from mixing stations & sprays sample according to predefined specifications
• Analyze and reports results independently. Communicates results in a timely manner to laboratory personnel to permit them to meet scheduled commitments.
• Participates in evaluation and presentation of results in formal and informal atmosphere and makes recommendations when appropriate.
• Maintains laboratory equipment in orderly and clean condition.
